Inside the Story highlight-14-v3_h2_title2
Terrie thought she was stepping into a new chapter of love and security. What she didn't know was that she was walking into a trap. After meeting Buz through faith-based dating, she was immediately drawn to his charm, confidence, and impressive use of Scripture. Twelve weeks later, they were married. It didn't take long for the façade to crumble.

Faith, Freedom, and Fearless Healing
Her journey from trauma to freedom wasn't easy-but it was transformative. Through God's unwavering love and healing power, Terrie rediscovered her worth, reclaimed her voice, and found the courage to walk away from abuse disguised as devotion.
Mission and Advocacy
Today, Terrie shares her story to light the way for other women trapped in similar darkness. She writes to remind survivors that they are not crazy, not alone, and not without hope. God sees them. Their pain matters. And freedom is possible.
Rooted in Truth, Thriving in Grace
Now retired and living in western New York, Terrie fills her days with the joys she once thought impossible-authentic relationships with family and friends, a faith restored and deepened, and a life rooted in truth rather than fear.
